Pre-production:
The Pitch- To be done by every member (Louis, Funda, Dipika and Sertan). This refers to the group presenting our opening sequence idea to others and getting feedback on it. 16/09/2011
Proposal- Louis will do this. This consists of a description on the content of the opening sequence and the purpose of it. 23/09/2011
Treatment- to be done by Funda. Includes details on props or facilities that will be needed. Along with different sounds, camera shots and facial expressions used. 23/09/2011
Audience profile- will be completed by Dipika, explaining a profile on the primary target audience and the secondary target audience. 23/09/2011
Resources for Mise-en-scene- to be done by Sertan, this has details on the location, props, costumes and lighting that will be used. 23/09/2011
Textual analysis- will be done by everyone (Louis, Funda, Sertan and Dipika) is the analysis of a movie with a similar genre. 30/09/2011
Script- to be done by Sertan and Louis, specifying what each character would say in each sequence.
Shot List- will be done by Louis and Sertan explaining what each shot will consist of e.g. shot size,angle and what’s happening. 30/09/2011
Draft Poster- Will be done by Louis, Dipika and Sertan, drawing and stating ideas for potential film poster for our film. 30/09/2011
Annotation of film poster- To be completed by Louis, Dipika, Sertan and Funda, analysing the poster that we used for our textual Analysis. 30/09/2011
Recce Report- to be done by Dipika, explaining details on the location including pictures and why it’s suitable. 07/10/2011
Storyboard- To be done by Louis, which will include drawings of each shot that is included in the shot list. 07/10/2011
Risk Assessment- This will be completed by Dipika, assessing possible hazards that may occur when filming. 07/10/2011
Annotation of film reviews- Layout:Dipika, Louis and Sertan to analyse and explain three different reviews, looking at the font, language etc. Content: To be done by all members looking at reviews from the films we used for our textual Analysis 07/10/2011
Filming Days:
11 October 2011: Student As Journey and Students filming each other
13 October 2011: Jim’s Journey and filming the lrc scene and the classrooms and canteen scene.
20 October 2011: Opening scene and the final scenes.
