Pitch

A clear idea for our film:
Our film will begin with an isolated and depressed figure in a dark room staring at pictures of previous massacres that happened in America. Next we have a shot of students, happy and smiling, recording themselves with their own camera like paranormal activity. Several, cross cuts follow of the isolated figure and then of the college students. Establishment shots follow of the canteen, which will be followed by gun noise and screaming. The Killers kills himself and his monologue starts to reveal his motivation and the destruction caused by him

Generic Profile:
Our film is typical of the thriller genre as the isolated figure is withheld from the audience, which is typical of the thriller genre. Also as our film is based on a massacre, this relates to recent of the recent events that happened in Norway.

·         College. Media studio.
Props:
·         Projector. Photos of previous massacres. Gun. Camera. Gloves.
Costume, hair and makeup:
·         The isolated figure will wear dark colours, whereas the college students will be wearing bright colours to illustrate the two atmospheres.
·         For makeup we will use blood to illustrate the destruction caused by this individual.
Lighting:
·         Low key:  Spot lights will be used in the media studio to keep the room quite dark, to keep the killers identity secret.
·         High key:  natural lighting of Students making filming each other outside will be used.


Camera:
·         Pan, tracking shot, hand held, low angle, High angle, medium long shot.
Editing:
·         Graphic match, Jump cut, straight cut, cross cutting, dissolve, fades.

·         Teenagers feeling isolated by their peers.
