INT. INSIDE COLLEGE-DAY
STUDENTS enter- just an ordinary day in college. The sun is shining adding to a peaceful atmosphere at college.
ESTABLISHING SHOTS- Students sitting together at table eating. Other students reading while sitting at a bench. Girl runs to boy and hugs him. Other students film each other. Camera’s point of view as girl smiles for the camera
DISSOLVE TO:
INT. JIMS DARK ROOM- DAY
Jim looks at documents and preparing for the Massacre...
JIM enters- Very dark room with light on the table only, revealing documents. Hard light used to create a mysterious atmosphere.
FOCUS PULL (CLOSE UP) of a picture of a victim in a previous Massacre.
PAN Slowly to show newspaper article about a college killer and post showing Massacre victims (PROPS-Mise-en-scene.) Jim ties his shoes, puts on his gloves and then picks up a gun and puts it into his college bag. Jim clicks play on a video on his computer.
CUT TO:
INT. COLLEGE (THE ZONE)- DAY
STUDENTS Enter- Girls sitting on coach laughing at each other. Other students are playing scrabble and interacting with staff. Calm atmosphere.

Hahahaha Thats so funny
(she smiles and laughs uncontrollably)
Ha ha ha I know
(Giggles)
TILT to show a student spelling the word “Massacre” on the scrabble board.
CUT TO:
INT. COLLEGE-DAY
JIM Enters- Jim arrives outside college. Throws cigarette on the floor and enters college.
CUT TO:
INT. LRC- DAY
STUDENTS Enter- Students using computers and doing course work at tables.
TRACKING follows student while she is looking for a book. In front of the book there is the poster- reference to The Basketball Diaries film.
BIG CLOSE UP of students looking at Massacre pictures for college project.
CUT TO:
INT. COLLEGE CORRIDOORS- DAY
JIM Enters-TRACKING CLOSE UP of Jim’s feet as he walks through college corridors.
CUT TO:
INT. COLLEGE CORRIDOOR (2) - DAY
STUDENT B Enters-Student B walks down corridor (2) GRAPHIC MATCH of feet walking
CUT TO:
INT. COLLEGE QUAD- DAY
STUDENT A Enters- Student A opens door and walks through college Quad.
CUT TO:
INT. CANTEEN- DAY
STUDENTS and STAFF Enter-Students are eating in the canteen as staff is preparing food - Canteen is very busy and loud.
BIG CLOSE UPS on food and students faces showing that they are enjoying the day.
CUT TO:
INT. STAIRWELL- DAY
STUDENT A Enters- BIRDS EYE VIEW of Student A walking up the stairs
CUT TO:
INT. COLLEGE CORRIDOOR- DAY
JIM Enters- Jim continues walking down the corridor. LONG SHOT from behind a window - Jims face is not clear at this point.
HIGH ANGLE- Security camera footage of Jim walking down corridor. POV shot of Jim looking through classroom doors and pulling on a lock.
CUT TO:
INT. THE ZONE- DAY
STUDENTS Enter- BIG CLOSE UPS of Girls continue laughing on the couch.
CUT TO:
INT. OUTSIDE LRC- DAY
STUDENT A Enters- Student A puts hand on the LRC door to enter. Student A is also wearing black gloves like Jim.
CUT TO:
INT. OUTSIDE CANTEEN- DAY
JIM Enters- GRAPHIC MATCH of Jim’s hand on canteen door.
CUT TO:
INT. OUTSIDE THE ZONE- DAY
STUDENT B Enters- Graphic match of Student B placing hand on The Zone door.
CUT TO:
INT. ZONE- DAY
STUDENTS and STUDENT B Enter- Student B enters The Zone to meet his friend. He takes of his hood as she waves to him (BIG CLOSE UP)
CUT TO:
INT. LRC- DAY
STUDENT A and STUDENTS Enter- POV as Student A enters LRC to meet her friend. Her friend looks up to greet Student A
FRIEND
HEY
(She waves)
CUT TO:
INT. CANTEEN- DAY
JIM, STUDENTS and STAFF Enter- TILT medium close up of Jims feet as he enters the canteen- sinister background music to show the change of atmosphere and raise tension. The music stops suddenly as Jim stops walking.
CLOSE UPS of Jims eyes, throat and hand going into his bag and pulling out the gun.
JIM
(Heavy breathing, looks around and raises gun)
(SLOW MOTION-EDITING)
Jim point’s gun at a student C. Student C drops her books in shock.
CUT TO:
INT: QUAD- DAY
STUDENTS Enter- OFFSCREEN DIEGETIC SOUND of three gun shots in the canteen causes students to run away-
Jim walks out of the canteen and shoots himself in the head.
CUT TO:
BLACK BACKGROUND as the gun shot sound is triggered.
DISSOLVE IN:
INT. JIMS DARK ROOM-DAY
A video on the screen of Jim saying why he did the shooting.
DISSOLVE TO:
CLOSE UPS of dead bodies under white sheets to show the destruction caused by Jim.
DISSOLVE TO:
STUDENTS Enter -Students crying and showing their disbelief to News reporters.
DISSOLVE TO:
Jim’s video comes to an end. Jim looks at the camera a final time and then turns it off.
CUT TO: BLACK
